Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. You only provide gender, date of birth, general health status, tobacco use, coverage amount, and term length to get rates. Those six details are sufficient for carriers to quote you. Your name, address, and health details stay private unless you choose to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

Carriers quote based on the health tier you selected, which are the rates shown. Your final rate follows underwriting, which might confirm, improve, or adjust your tier. This site provides estimates only and makes no coverage promises.

What happens when I click Apply?

You enter your name, and the system creates an application from your chosen quote, then you're directed to the carriers' secure platform. You can leave and come back, sign electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a California-licensed agency (License 0B75129), receives and processes the application.

Will I need a medical exam?

The answer depends on your carrier choice, coverage amount, and your responses. Some carriers with immediate-decision programs can approve fast applicants without testing; each quote note says whether an exam is required, maybe needed, or not needed.

Is a longer term better?

Your term should match when you'd be hurt most by lost income: paying a mortgage, raising kids, covering business debt. Longer terms lock in lower rates longer, but cost more monthly. The tool lets you compare 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years side by side.

Does this site sell my information?

We don't. The quote tool never asks for contact info. We don't exchange or sell your data. Our measurement is cookie-free. Read the privacy page to see exactly what gets tracked and who sees it.
